A Running High


I never thought I woud like the idea of running in order to stay fit. Though I'm currently more in the power walk/jog phase, it really works my whole body out. My adrenaline gets pumping, and I sweat the way I want to, profusely (lol). When running outside you can be engrossed in the beautiful scenery, like when I run on the Willamsburg Bridge in Brooklyn, New York. The water, the boats, the other Joggers, and just the air and sun is sure to keep you motivated and coming back for more. When I'm indoors, I put on my favorite workout music (Rihanna or Beyonce) and ride out on my treadmill, slowly adjusting the incline for a harder workout. The benefits of running/jogging are stronger muscles, improved cardiovascular strength, maintains a healthy weight, prevents heart disease, hypertension, combats stress, helps mental stability, and numerous other benefits that we can all use. Your body eventually gets stonger and you'll be passing laps like a beast. Running is a good way to get high.
