Smoothie Detox
In the summer of 2014, I decided it was a great time to do a juice cleanse. I was nervous getting prepared for a juice detox even though I was only doing it for seven days. The juicing was way overdue and my body was ready. The summer offers a plethora of beautiful sweet, juicy fruits that are wonderful for detox while providing vibrant colors to your cup. Something told me to try the fruits alone, separate from the vegetables. Another thing I decided was that I didn't want to exactly just juice the fruit. My juice detox turned into a smoothie detox, using organic coconut or almond milk. This added a great benefit to my drinks and allowed me to stretch out those expensive organic fruits. In my blender I would pop in the ingredients and give it a go. Unfortunately I didn't add things such as Chia and Flax seeds, but I did add coconut oil which only supported my coconut addiction, and is good for digestion, skin and energy levels. I influence you to add the seeds or whatever other healthy super food you enjoy. The benefits turned out to be awesome, smooth, clear skin, wonderful digestion, and super amounts of energy. Here are a few recipes below: Makes 1 Mason Jar
Raspberry Banana Coconut Smoothie:
2 cups of coconut milk
1/2 cup of raspberries
1 whole banana
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
1 tablespoon of honey (optional)
Blend and enjoy the tangy sweetness!

1 cup of mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries)
1 whole banana
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 tablespoon of honey (optional)
